Who we are
Expert AV Products, Inc. is a Texas company that designs and manufactures the Expert Mounts line of commercial-grade audio-video mounting hardware. The product line covers TV ceiling mounts, wall mounts, multi-screen and digital-signage mounts, projector mounting, and the modular 1.5" NPT pipe system of plates, pipes, telescoping extensions, and mount heads.
The pipe system is the core of the line. Because every plate, pipe, and head shares the same 1.5" NPT thread, an installer can combine standard parts to hit an exact drop, clear an obstruction, or hang hardware from flat ceilings, angled ceilings, Unistrut, I-beams, and trusses. Fixed pipes run from 1.5" to 48"; telescoping extensions adjust from 8" to 72".
Founding and leadership
Expert AV Products, Inc. was founded on June 13, 2007 by Jason Banks, who serves as president. The company designs, manufactures, and supports the Expert Mounts line from Plano, Texas, and the specification sheets, installation documents, and mounting guides published on this site are written and maintained by the people who build the hardware.
Custom mounting solutions
Custom work is part of the business, not an afterthought. When a job needs a modified plate, a non-standard drop, a multi-screen array, or hardware for a specialty environment, Expert AV Products engineers and builds it. The Expert Mounts dental operatory mount is an example: a ceiling mount with 90 degrees of tilt, developed so reclined dental patients can watch a screen mounted overhead. It started as a custom project and is now a standard product.
